A canvas transfer is a lithographic poster image that has been chemically removed from the paper through a controlled hands-on process by us here at Kinman Studios.  The image is then transferred to canvas and hand embelished by the artist adding color and texture using painting knives.  Lastly, it is resigned by the artist, and protected with a clear laminate coating. We feel they are the some of the finest reproductions of our work that we have ever seen, mainly because we are so personally involved in the process.  The end result looks so much like an original oil painting most people won't be able to tell the difference.
